The website sets out to trace the path of a long-awaited visitor to the Great Pyramid's passage system; to seek out ways the Genesis creation text is encoded into its measurements.
Path through the Pyramid is a presentation in six parts. Based on the methods of H.J. Edwards it explores the important insights he brought to the Great Pyramid and Genesis.
The following briefly describes a quest begun in the Hebrew bible. Readers who wish to skip the introduction to enter the Pyramid should use this link:
The Hidden DoorAfter Jack Edwards retired from work he embarked on a study of the first four Hebrew chapters of Genesis. Using the traditional Jewish practice of gematria, he discovered several numbers of special thematic significance, which he classed as standardised gematria.
The same numbers were found later in the Great Pyramid, appearing in prominent dimensions of the internal passage system.
Further discoveries followed his initial findings. Drawing upon Genesis chapters one to four as the reference source, a text for the Great Pyramid was uncovered through means of its internal measurements and first-occurrence gematria, which is to say, texts extracted for Pyramid features were derived from matching dimensions to the first-occurring, equivalent number in Genesis. The resulting test-yields (gematria) shed a new light on the Pyramid by assigning meaning and primacy to features previously without a definitive text.
Note 1. General information on guidelines usedThe following journey takes up the trail of Jack's discoveries. It merges a search for standard numbers (and their multiples) with uncovering the message of the Pyramid through the Genesis medium of first occurrence data, thereby advancing pyramidology’s traditional association with ancient scripture.
The main objective throughout has been to keep things as simple as possible by reproducing many of the findings through illustration leaving each gematria to speak for itself, and by employing the measurements supplied by pyramidologist Adam Rutherford with the Pyramid inch as unit of measure. It is possible some texts may appear strange at first viewing, but it is hoped the reader will stay with the unfolding picture to discover the many intriguing correlations between texts and architectural features.
Thus the creation stories and the Great Pyramid correlate so that each helps to explain the other.
